Location: Floor G, 37 Pembroke Road, London, W8 6PW
Job Type: Temporary
Hours: 36 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 08:00-16:00)

About the Role

We are recruiting experienced Painter & Decorators to join the Facilities and Environmental Services team at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. This role focuses on high‑quality decoration work within residential and public buildings, alongside essential mould‑washing and removal tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out internal and external painting and decorating to a high standard.
  • Complete mould washing and mould removal tasks safely and effectively.
  • Prepare surfaces, including sanding, filling, washing, and priming.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and RBKC quality standards.
  • Work both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team.
  • MUST have experience in mould washing/removal.
  • Strong decorating skills with proven experience in similar roles.
  • Ability to follow instructions, complete work on schedule, and maintain excellent workmanship.
  • Professional attitude and reliability.
