Overview

Interaction Education are really pleased to be currently working with a school in Aylesbury who are seeking a temporary PA to the Headteacher/Office Manager ahead of the new school year.

This is a very varied position which will require the successful candidate to have previous experience of working within a school position of a similar nature, and have a very organised and proficient manner.

This role is a temporary contract, with the potential of going permanent should the temporary period be a success for both candidate and school.

A DBS on the update service is essential for this position, this can be achieved should the candidate not have one already through an application.

Responsibilities
  • Provide confidential, high-level administrative support to the Headteacher
  • Manage the Headteacher s diary, correspondence, and communications
  • Oversee the daily running of the school office, ensuring efficient operations
  • Line manage administrative staff and coordinate office workflows
  • Support HR processes, safeguarding checks, and school compliance
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and external agencies
Person Specification
  • Proven experience in a similar PA or office management role (school setting desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle sensitive information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS/Arbor training can be provided)
