A leading cancer treatment center in Manchester is seeking a part-time PA/Medical Secretary in the Oncology Department. The role involves providing administrative support and requires previous secretarial experience in a healthcare setting. Candidates should be adaptable and capable of handling various clerical tasks efficiently. This position offers a competitive salary and a supportive work environment.
PA/Medical Secretary in the Oncology Department within the Networked Services Division. This is a part-time, permanent post working 30 hours per week Monday to Friday, with the option of hybrid working. The Trust supports flexible working arrangements.
You will provide full secretarial and administrative support within the Medical Oncology Sarcoma and TYA teams, ensuring a high standard of PA/secretarial duties, meeting deadlines and audio typing targets. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, willing to learn, able to work with initiative, and capable of contributing effectively in a busy team environment. Experience of audio typing and copy typing is required; healthcare environment experience and medical terminology knowledge are highly desirable. Knowledge of cancer pathways/targets would be beneficial.
