Overview

Title: Part time Accounts Assistant
Location: Widnes (WA8 7QF)
Salary: £15.59 per hour
Shifts: Monday- Friday (4 hours per day)
Contract Type: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Part time Accounts Assistant for our client a leading manufacturer of high-performance water treatment and process chemicals.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be working within a small team covering all aspects of purchase ledger as well as other duties which include credit control.

As a Part time Accounts Assistant your duties will be:

  • Receiving invoices.
  • Sending invoices out for authorisation.
  • Posting invoices to the relevant nominal account.
  • Reconciling statements.
  • Processing two payment runs per month.
  • Allocating and posting cash daily.
  • Chasing overdue accounts.
  • Ordering stationary.
  • Weekly processing of clock card.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Must have worked within a similar role previously.
  • Ability to pick up tasks quickly and efficiently.
  • Work well as part of a team and happy to conduct other duties where necessary.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Computer literate.
