Aftermarket On-Wing Overhaul Base Manager – UK
The Successful Candidate must be based in London Heathrow 5 days a week
Responsibilities
- Act as a key interface between the UK and global MRO teams.
- Expand and improve the business relationship through professional support and participation in key meetings.
- Coordinate interface activities between the global MRO Aftermarket organisation and the MRO service provider – inclusive of our turn-around-time activities, ramp-up plans and operational plans.
- Ensure compliance to service provider agreements and customer contract requirements.
- Where needed, support the regional OBMs with operational activities, to include hardware dispositioning, engine system troubleshooting, and failure investigations in support of the MRO service provider.
- Lead repair implementation activity with the MRO base.
Basic Requirements
- Preferred experience in MRO
Preferred Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of gas turbine maintenance and repair processes and procedures
- Familiarity with airworthiness regulations
- Ability to prioritise, work independently or in a team environment with a strong customer focus
- Strong operational understanding
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with shop personnel and good network across organisation.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical details and solve complex technical issues
- Ability to demonstrate strategic ability, problem solving, and decision making
- Experience working with multiple business functions, both technical and non-technical
