A prominent religious organization in Belfast is seeking a Domestic and Laundry Assistant to help maintain a clean and safe environment for elderly residents. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to the organization's Christian ethos and possess the patience and integrity required to support residents' dignity. This position offers rewarding work, training opportunities, and a supportive team atmosphere.
Hours: 20 hours per week (Shifts: 8am – 1pm or 2pm – 7pm, worked on a rota basis)
Responsible to: Service Manager
Main Function of Job
To work within the Domestic and Laundry Departments, while also working within the Christian ethos of Corkey House.

The Council for Social Witness (Older People Services) is part of the work and witness of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. Its aim is to provide care for older people in a specifically Christian ethos and environment, placing emphasis on offering spiritual support and encouragement to residents, as well as physical care.
Corkey House is one of six homes for older people run by the Council for Social Witness (Older People Services). The Home accommodates 35 residents with a variety of physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs and varying levels of dependency. The Home operates a No Smoking Policy.
