Overview

Location: You will be working across East London onsite 3 days a week.

We're looking for people with the skills and vision to build a better tomorrow. Join our Smart Infrastructure as an Operations Manager and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow.

Based near East London, you'll lead the delivery of critical service and project packages for key accounts, handling complex integrated life safety and security systems. Working alongside our expert engineering team, you'll provide vital pre-sales support and deliver extraordinary services to our customers. This dynamic role requires flexibility, including 24/7 support and occasional late/night shifts in live buildings. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting various domains and disciplines, making a real impact on our infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead both direct and subcontract resources in prestigious high-end environments
  • Report and liaise directly to end user management teams and FM's to provide a high level of customer service to clients and maintain the highest standards of quality
  • Quote Small Works, moves and changes from agreed Rate Cards
  • Handle the onsite service delivery team meeting agreed SLA's and KPI's.
  • On site/remote management of project delivery through site meetings and co-ordination with internal & external stakeholders of fast paced fit out / retail contracts as well as major upgrades and infrastructure changes
  • Follow all Health & Safety requirements.
  • Respond to all communications within an appropriate time.
  • Sound problem solving skills and analytical thinking. Ability to travel and attend client meetings when required.
Experience, knowledge and skills required
  • Significant experience working in the Fire industry and Security Industry
  • A full clean driver's license.
  • Experience in delivery of large complex fire & life safety systems on new and existing sites
  • Good working knowledge of a variety of manufacturer's equipment, products and systems.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with good people management skills.
  • A good knowledge of networking and IT skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, outgoing & customer orientated
Advantageous
  • Experience with Siemens Fire & Security Systems
  • Fire & Security regulations (BS5839-1)
  • Experience of working in a construction environment
  • MS Office experience (Excel/Word etc.)
