This is an exciting opportunity to join our diagnostic clinical services in a purpose-built Specialist Diagnostics & Dental Centre. Featuring state-of-the-art facilities including MRI, CT, X-ray, and mammography, the centre will deliver a wide range of outpatient and diagnostic services across multiple specialities.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking an experiencedOperational Site Lead Radiographer (Radiographer with HCPC Registration) to oversee the delivery of a high-quality, safe radiology service across our East London and Basinghall centres. You will lead a team of senior radiographers and administrative staff, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with HCPC standards.

This is a pivotal leadership role requiring strong organisational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage change in a fast-paced environment.

You will direct manage:

  • CT Lead Radiographer
  • Senior MRI Radiographers
  • General X-Ray Radiographer
  • Radiology Admin Team Manager
About the Centre

The Centre's secondary care services including muscle, bone and joint, orthopaedics, pain and spinal, dental and maxillofacial, breast and gynaecology, dermatology, cardiac, musculoskeletal, spinal, and urology, ENT, and will be able to perform simple procedures onsite.

The centre provides rapid-access to numerous specialities, and is operational Monday to Friday 8:00am to 20:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am to 14:00pm .

How you'll help us make health happen:
  • Manage daily operations of MRI, CT, and X-ray services, including staff rotas and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with IRMER, MR safety, and CQC standards.
  • Lead quality assurance programmes and audits across all modalities.
  • Act as Radiation Protection Supervisor and co-chair MR Safety governance meetings.
  • Drive service improvements and support growth initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clinicians and stakeholders.
  • Champion patient experience and uphold Bupa's customer service standards.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
  • BSc or DCR in Radiography.
  • HCPC Registered
  • Minimum 5 years' managerial experience across at least two imaging modalities.
  • Substantial CT and MRI experience, including cardiac and pneumocolon scanning.
  • Knowledge of IRMER and MHRA regulations.
  • Cannulation skills and experience with RIS/PACS systems.
Desirable:
  • RPS certification.
  • Experience with Siemens CT scanners.
  • Evidence of implementing QSI standards.
