Poste et missions

Support the evolution of the Natixis CIB UK Branch governance, along with the coordination and the secretary function of the Risk Board.

Facilitate the embedding of the Natixis CIB UK Resilience Framework into the processes and governances that support and supervise the services and activities operated within the Branch.

Assess how the most material risks for London Branch are being managed, defining and implementing control actions to mitigate those risks. Provide guidance to business lines and various departments on the implementation of their control setup.
Work closely with Second Line of Defence teams and assist to apply relevant global and local rules, policies, and standards consistently across all Natixis CIB London Branch.

Coordinate and manage cross-departmental initiatives to improve and strengthen the operating model of UK Branch.

This role is a First Line of Defence position.

• Analysing first line risk indicators / data points (KRI, Risk Assessments) to identify trends or areas of potential heightened risks and where necessary escalate to senior management
• Coordination of monthly control campaigns and associated QA
• Independently assess, oversee and challenge the effectiveness of the first line of controls
• Working closely with CIB supervisors and senior management to ensure remediation plans are created and where necessary resources aligned to address control weaknesses
• Monitoring of risk events and tracking timely closure across the businesses and escalation where necessary.

Governance & Supervision
• Ensuring local supervision infrastructures remain compliant with relevant statutory requirements at all times while supporting the establishment of global minimum standards for Natixis
• Facilitation of key Branch governance forums (UK Risk Board, UK Support & Controls Functions Control Committee)
• Monitoring of indicators to ensure relevant supervisors are adhering to supervision requirements and escalating issues in the relevant forums and to the Natixis UK Risk Board as necessary
• Overseeing the services provided by intragroup functions, ensuring SLAs are adhered to and regularly reviewed
• Maintenance of the UK Branch policies & procedures framework
• Close collaboration with Second and Third Lines, as well as with Head Office CIB teams

Other Duties
• Assist in the Business Management support to the UK Banking business lines
• Assist in the management of the UK Branch resilience framework, including regular assessment and reporting
• Ad hoc project management

• Experience in Crisis Management is a plus
