A local primary school is seeking an Opal Play - Play Leader to support children during playtime. The successful candidate will need a love of play and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include delivering engaging activities and promoting a safe, inclusive environment. This part-time role is based at the school and requires commitment to safeguarding and welfare of students.
Opal Play - Play Leader. Closing Date: Friday 31 May. Salary: Grade C Point 3-6. Hours: 10 hours per week, 11:30am - 1:30pm every day. Location: Kings Priory School. Start Date: As soon as possible.
Kings Priory School wishes to appoint an Opal Play - Play Leader. The successful candidate should love playing and have excellent communication skills. You should be able to use your own initiative and also be able to work as part of a team to deliver effective activities for pupils. We recognise that play, especially outdoor play, is at the heart of healthy, full development for children. The role of the Play Leader is to support all children and young people in the creation of a space in which they can play.
Kings Priory School operates across neighbouring sites in the centre of the coastal village of Tynemouth with short commuting links into Newcastle upon Tyne. It is part of Woodard Academies Trust, committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
