Purpose of the role
Crews Off Price team are critical to the success of delivering Crew’s Multi Channel Strategy. The Off-Price Sales Support Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Buying Director with the management of Off-Price accounts at Crews Head Office.
Responsibilities
- Support the Buying Director with management of customer accounts for Crews Off Price Business.
- Working closely with the product and merchandise team to ensure orders are collated, placed, and delivered on time.
- Supporting the customer accounts with marketing material, seasonal photography and samples.
- Working alongside the product, merchandising and QA team to ensure garment quality and delivery are as per the customers’ requirements.
- Supporting the negotiation on prices and delivery to ensure that sales and margin are achieved.
- Establish and maintain working partnerships alongside buying team with the existing and future supplier base.
- Ensuring all departments within Crew Clothing team are aware of customer and supplier procedures covering IT / Importing & Exporting Logistics / Finance / QA / Warehousing departments, to be reviewed and updated seasonally.
- Working with the internal teams on preparation of showroom for customer meetings.
- Attend customer meetings with the Buying Director.
- Management of samples for the partners orders.
- Management of on time delivery to customers of orders.
- Maintain strong customer / supplier relationships.
Key Skills & Experience
Essential –
- Educated to degree standard
- 5+ years relevant experience in the retail industry
- Preferable previous experience with discount retailers
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
- Good organisational skills
- Sourcing & Sales experience in the clothing sector advantageous.
- Fabric experience would be an advantage.
- Thorough understanding of the development process & production from design concept to finished delivered goods.
- Understanding of shipping, export & import process – experience with direct working with overseas suppliers.
- Exposure to sales / customer / working relationships.
- Understanding of the Budgeting process.
- Broad knowledge / understanding of the clothing industry and trading environment.
- Ability to work under pressure / timeline.
- Self-motivated and motivating.
- Commercial awareness.
- Efficient Negotiation skills.
- Confident communicator & presenter.
