A leading healthcare provider in Manchester is seeking an experienced Nursing Assistant/Health Care Support Worker to provide clinical care in patients' homes. The role involves working without direct supervision, conducting tasks like venepuncture and ECGs, and communicating effectively with patients and healthcare practitioners. A full UK driving license and commitment to a flexible rota are essential. Join a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and make a meaningful impact on patient care.
Are you an experienced Nursing Assistant/Health Care Support Worker that is passionate about keeping patients in the comfort of their own home to avoid hospital admissions, or supporting early discharge? Then this is the role for you.
Hospital at Home is a community-based service providing care at home within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT). We are a service in South Manchester as part of Manchester Community Response (MCR), working alongside other services such as Crisis response, Discharge to Assess, and IV. We take referrals from both hospital and community and provide input for clinical, therapy, and social needs, allowing patients to stay in their own home. If you would like to read more about our service, read here Hospital At Home - South Manchester - Manchester Local Care Organisation.
As a part of MCR, although predominantly working within Hospital at Home, there is an expectation to work across the floor to support other teams we work alongside.
We will support you with specialist and bespoke training to reach your potential and excel in your chosen career path. You will receive one-to-one clinical support, professional development, and guidance.
Join Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) and become part of a 30,000+ strong team, delivering exceptional care to over 1 million people every year. MFT offers a stimulating and supportive environment where your contribution truly matters.
