Purpose of the Role:

To lead and manage the daily running of a designated nursery room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support staff within your room to deliver high-quality care and learning.

Plan, prepare, and implement age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS.

Carry out observations, assessments, and maintain accurate records of childrens development.

Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times.

Build positive relationships with children, parents, and careers.

Supervise room staff, supporting their training and professional development.

Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.

Skills & Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare (or equivalent).

Proven experience in an early years setting, ideally in a supervisory role.

Excellent knowledge of EYFS statutory framework.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting childrens welfare.
