Are you hard-working, reliable and eager to develop your knowledge of the Early Years Sector? Are you able to adapt well to working with children of different ages? Do you have previous experience working within an Early Years setting?

TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a private day nursery in Leeds (LS8). The nursery provides a warm and welcoming environment for the children to settle into, with different rooms set up with natural resources and activities for the children to explore. The nursery cares for up to 60 children each day, with staff working hard to ensure each child is supported with all their needs and development.

Responsibilities

The nursery are currently searching for a Nursery Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. The successful Nursery Assistant will have previous experience working in an Early Years setting, and a good knowledge of the EYFS. The ideal applicant will be passionate about working with young children and will be eager to develop their own skills and knowledge of the Early Years.

• Be confident working with children aged 5 and under
• Have a good knowledge of the EYFS and Safeguarding Polices & Procedures
• Be able to adapt well to different challenges, and working across the different rooms in the Nursery
