Main duties
  • Safe care of pre and post operative patients recovering from a variety of orthopaedic surgeries. Appropriate escalation of concern.
  • Pain management and medicines administrations according to NMC guidance and local policy.
  • Effective communication with both patients and staff.
  • Co-ordinating care with ward based therapy teams. Facilitating ward based investigations and procedures.
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve best patient outcomes.
