About the Location

Opened 1999. 100 bedrooms, 65‑seater Bar & Grill, 8 private event spaces – the largest seats up to 150. About The Role

Role: Night Porter. Location: Leeds. £12.50 per hour for 20 hours. The Night Porter is instrumental in overseeing the running of the hotel from sundown to sunrise, managing guest expectations and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Food & Beverage Department during the night.
  • Welcome guests in a friendly, helpful manner.
  • Keep public areas immaculate, including cleaning and preparing meeting and event spaces for the next day.
  • Assist guests with luggage, address enquiries, and carry out nightly Health and Safety audits.
  • Participate in shift patterns across the 7‑day year and discuss contracted hours during interview.
  • Support career progression to Night Supervisory or Assistant Night Management roles.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar role is beneficial.
  • Experience of night shift work is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and organisational ability.
