About the Location

About The Role
Role: Night Porter. Location: Leeds. £12.50 per hour for 20 hours. The Night Porter is instrumental in overseeing the running of the hotel from sundown to sunrise, managing guest expectations and maintaining brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Food & Beverage Department during the night.
- Welcome guests in a friendly, helpful manner.
- Keep public areas immaculate, including cleaning and preparing meeting and event spaces for the next day.
- Assist guests with luggage, address enquiries, and carry out nightly Health and Safety audits.
- Participate in shift patterns across the 7‑day year and discuss contracted hours during interview.
- Support career progression to Night Supervisory or Assistant Night Management roles.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role is beneficial.
- Experience of night shift work is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and organisational ability.
- Open to nationally recognised apprenticeships and detailed brand training programmes.
