Job description

New Build Conveyancer - Kingswood (Bristol)

A well-regarded regional law firm is looking for an experienced conveyancer to join its established and growing New Build team in Kingswood.

This is a fee-earning role working with a busy, friendly department that has strong relationships with developers and agents across the South West. The team is known for its collaborative approach and excellent client care, consistently receiving strong feedback on public review platforms.

The role will involve handling a caseload of new build matters from instruction through to completion, including drafting contracts and reports, dealing with enquiries, reviewing search results, handling exchanges and post-completion matters, and maintaining close contact with clients, agents, and lenders throughout.

Applicants should have experience in residential conveyancing - ideally with direct exposure to new build work - and be confident managing transactions independently. Previous experience using case management systems is essential, as is a strong client focus and clear written and verbal communication.

There will also be opportunities to support wider marketing and business development initiatives, so someone confident in networking, social media, or developing referral relationships would be well suited to the role.

This position is offered on a full-time basis, though part-time applicants (minimum four days per week) are welcome.

The role is based in the firm's Kingswood office in Bristol, with the option for hybrid working following successful completion of probation.

The firm has a supportive culture and is known for investing in staff wellbeing and development. It offers a positive, open environment where flexible working, mental health support, and work-life balance are genuinely prioritised.

Applications are invited from conveyancers with a solid grounding in residential property, whether qualified by experience or holding a legal qualification such as a law degree or CILEx CPQ.
All applications will be treated in strict confidence.
