An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Network Support Technician to join our busy IT department. The role focuses on supporting IT within the school environment through maintenance of IT software, hardware and related equipment, and providing support to staff and pupils to maximise administration and learning outcomes. As a Network Technician, you will provide first-line ICT support and interact with a range of stakeholders within the school including staff and students.

Responsibilities

  • Support staff and students to maximise administration and learning outcomes.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to resolve issues and support learning activities.
Qualifications
  • Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) in IT and proven experience in an IT environment and working with relevant software and networks.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Other information
  • The main campus for TWGSB is in Tunbridge Wells; you may be required to work at other campuses connected to TWGSB.
  • The school is undergoing transformational change with investments in Tunbridge Wells and a new building at Sevenoaks (opened Sept 2021).
