A dynamic marine and offshore consultancy in the UK is looking for a skilled Naval Architect to join their team. The Company-

A dynamic marine and offshore consultancy is looking for a skilled and driven Naval Architect to join their growing team. In this role, you will support the design, development, and evaluation of marine and offshore structures through advanced engineering analysis and simulation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career looking to grow in a technically challenging and innovative environment, with exposure to cutting-edge projects in ship design, offshore energy, or marine engineering systems.

The Role-
  • Perform structural, hydrodynamic, mooring and stability analyses of vessels and offshore structures
  • Support design evaluations through FEM, CFD, or other simulation tools
  • Interpret and apply industry standards, classification rules, and regulations
  • Work closely with design, production, and project teams to ensure engineering accuracy and feasibility
  • Prepare clear, technical reports and present analysis findings to stakeholders
  • Contribute to R&D initiatives and continuous improvement of analysis methods
The Person-
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture or related discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience in a marine / offshore engineering setting
  • Strong understanding of some of the following- structural analysis, mooring, hydrostatics or hydrodynamics
  • Familiarity with tools such as ANSYS, Rhino, OrcaFlex, MOSES, or similar
  • Proficient in engineering reporting and technical communication
  • Curious, analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Eligible to work in United Kingdom
Desirable :
  • Experience working with classification societies (e.g., DNV, ABS, Lloyd's)
  • Coding / scripting skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
  • Exposure to CFD or model testing
  • Project / site experience in ship design, offshore renewables, or marine consultancy
