Job Overview

A family is looking for a kind and loving nanny to care for their two children – a boy and a girl, both aged five. SEN experience is essential to support their daughter, who has a wonderfully cheeky and fun personality. She has cerebral palsy, which affects her mobility, speech and eating. She does not use walking aids but can sometimes be accident‑prone, so strong awareness of hazards and risks, both at home and when out and about, is important. Full training will be provided on her specific needs, and some knowledge of, or willingness to learn, Makaton would be highly beneficial. The children love imaginative play, board games, and creative activities that encourage learning and fun. They thrive when fully engaged, so a nanny who enjoys getting involved in play and planning varied, stimulating experiences would be a great fit.

Job Details

• Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
• Days required: Tuesday & Wednesday 7.30am – 6pm and Thursday 5pm – 10pm.
• Job start date: ASAP.
• Pay: £22,152 gross per annum (£18 gross per hour).
• Benefits: Continuous professional development relating to support of a child with Cerebral palsy.
