Working alongside our client, a leading injection moulding 1st tier automotive supplier, we are seeking 2x Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their team to support business growth.

Remit

• As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for providing effective maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of injection moulding machines, associated robotics, automation equipment and site facilities.
• The successful candidate will join a modern, clean, and highly automated manufacturing environment, working with the latest injection moulding machines, robotics, and automation systems.

Role

• Carry out planned PPM & TPM on injection moulding machinery, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, identifying root cause and implementing corrective actions
• Perform mechanical and electrical fault finding, including hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ensure machines are production-ready in line with manufacturing schedules
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Working closely with production and engineering teams to drive process improvements
• Promoting and maintaining high health & safety standards at all times
• Supporting training and knowledge sharing within the maintenance team

Experience Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance engineering, ideally within plastics / injection moulding or a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and automation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with PLC fault finding and programming – Desirable
• Knowledge of Lean / Continuous Improvement principles – Desirable
• Proficient in planned and reactive maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Strong health & safety awareness.
