Responsibilities
  • You will have overall responsibility for availability and operational effectiveness of all production and site services equipment, conducting reactive and proactive maintenance.
  • You will schedule planned maintenance tasks and complete them as planned, always keeping plant and infrastructure in good working order.
  • You will improve site operational effectiveness and downtime reduction by implementing agreed improvement plans in line with KPI’s.
  • You will work as a team on technical best practice and establish related policies and procedures.
  • You will implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles by highlighting and updating changes to training, working practices and procedures.
  • You will promote the use and development of route cause analysis and condition‑based monitoring methodologies.
  • You will communicate well with all stakeholders and build positive relationships with colleagues.
  • You will develop a detailed understanding of production processes and machine operation through training and self‑learning so faults can be diagnosed and rectified efficiently.
  • You will autonomously self‑initiate and assign technical activities in support of new products, processes, applications or technologies.
  • You will supervise, work alongside and control contractor activities.
Qualifications
  • A recognised electrical & or mechanical engineering qualification.
  • GCSE in Maths and English.
