Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Orion is partnered with a well-established food manufacturing business located in Lincoln which is recruiting for an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

All applicants must have food manufacturing experience and the right to work long term in the UK without sponsorship.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

• Competitive Salary of £40,000 - £46,000 Shift premium 8%
• Progression opportunities throughout the wider business
• Overtime/ On call rate paid at time and a half
• 34 days annual leave including bank holidays

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Shifts:

• Monday Friday
• 14:00 23:00
• Potential for shifts to change in the future to rotational 6am-2pm & 2pm 10pm- TBC

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Experience

• Must be electrically biased and hold a UK recognised engineering qualification in electrical engineering.
• Must have strong mechanical knowledge Multi skilled is KEY!
• Must have the right to work long term in the UK without the need for sponsorship
• Must have a full UK drivers licence
• Must have experience in food manufacturing
• Must have experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment
• Must have multi skilled experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong machinery maintenance experience
• Experience fault finding with PLCs
• Continuous improvement experience and mind set
• Machinery installation experience
• Experience with food manufacturing machinery
• Experience with sensors, panel bords, motors, relays etc..

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

• To work along side Maintenance team with reactive and planned maintenance
• Machinery installation & modifications
• Electrical and mechanical machinery maintenance within a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Carry out autonomous and preventative maintenance tasks competently and correctly, recording work carried out in appropriate documentation.
• Ensure hand overs between shifts are detailed and add value.

Multi-Skilled Engineer Qualifications/Experience:

• ONC/HNC OR EQUIVALENT IN ENGINEERING (Ideally electrical but open to mechanical with strong electrical experience)
• Food manufacturing experience is essential
• FMCG Experience
