Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Shifts: Panama Days and Nights rotating

Salary: Starting £54,959 per annum

Location: Near to St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Looking to get more downtime? We are seeking a seasoned Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer within the FMCG space to join a renowned manufacturing company near to St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently repair various production machinery using both reactive and preventative maintenance techniques, including motors, control panels and various systems
• Confidence with PLC fault finding
• Demonstrate proficiency in both electrical and mechanical principles
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and minimize downtime
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and provide reports as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in the FMCG sector
• Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering (BTEC, HNC, etc.)
• Possession of an 18th edition or any additional electrical qualifications is highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commutable distance from near to Yate, Gloucestershire
