Overview

A leading 40 year established provider of service, maintenance and repair services to customers commercial vehicles, predominantly in the South of England, have a new career elevating opportunity for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their team in the Basingstoke / Hampshire area.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance and repair tasks on commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues using basic schematics knowledge.
• Work on a variety of additional equipment including dumpers, diggers, telehandlers, trailers, pallet trucks and pumps.
• Utilise a fully equipped vehicle with cutting edge tools and technology to provide timely and exceptional service.
• Support a loyal customer base with immediately recognised brands, including telecoms, gas, water and roadside vehicle repair organisations.
• Collaborate with customers and teams to ensure high standards of service and repair work.

Qualifications & Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent; eligible for HGV, LCV, PSV Technician work experience.
• Alternative eligible backgrounds include Agricultural Vehicle / Machinery / Construction Plant experience or ex-Military (REME / Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers or Royal Engineers) with vehicle/plant experience.
• Own tools are required; specialist tools will be issued by the Company.

Additional Notes

Those applying with PTO / Power Take Off experience are of high interest, though not a deal breaker. Applicants with the ability to work on commercial vehicles and their attachments are highly sought after.
