Overview

Proactive Personnel Wolverhampton are on the look out for a Mobile Repairer on a straight permanent basis.

Job Purpose

To carry out all necessary soft and hard repairs to trolleys in a timely and efficient manner whilst maintaining quality. This will require travel to other sites as and when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Communication: Communicate electronically via emails, Teams and other platforms as necessary.
• Liaising and updating the line manager on all operational elements of the site.
• Build and maintain good working relations with members of staff at all sites.
• Managing Workflow/ Planning: Liaise with line manager to take preventative action to avoid excessive workload.
• Cage/Trolley Repairing: Conduct initial checks on trolley noting areas requiring attention.
• Work systematically through amends required - setting aside for 'hard' repairs if necessary.
• Remove any debris from wheels, ensuring the trolley is cosmetically pleasing.
• Carry out a further check to ensure all repairs have been made and trolley is operating correctly.
• Conduct one final check to include there are no sharp edges, castor flow properly etc.
• Use of scanner to ensure every repair is scanned and recorded.
• Manage the movement of trolleys within the working environment appropriately and in line with Health and Safety procedures.
• Working in Birmingham and surrounding areas with some nationwide jobs.
• General Duties: Keep your working area clean, tidy and free of any foreign objects throughout the day.
• Given Company Vehicle, so must keep your vehicle clean and well maintained.
• All required PPE and uniform must be worn at all times.
• Ensure you are familiar with and abide by the Employee Handbook and Company Policies and Procedures and all relevant Risk Assessments assigned to the tasks you are to carry out.
• Administration Duties: Maintain your attendance register and submit this to HR.
• Maintain your expense sheet and keep a record of all the receipts and Soldo expenses.
• Complete weekly site repair report for jobs assigned to you.
