Mobile Plant Engineer - based near Edinburgh, salary circa £40,000 plus overtime, bonus and van!

Receive plenty of training & overtime available in this brand new Mobile Plant Engineer opportunity! Product and equipment training is available with career development opportunities. As the Mobile Plant Engineer you will be working on a large fleet of modern construction plant machinery including some tools, powered access and plant hire equipment.

Commutable from Edinburgh, this Mobile Plant Engineer role is an extremely reactive position where you will support the company's needs in the day to day requirements of service, maintenance and repair of construction equipment including Excavators, Dump Trucks, Diggers and Dozers.

Responsibilities

• Full product training provided as the Mobile Plant Engineer


• Some hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatics, electronic experience is desired.


• Carrying out preventative maintenance to the company’s hire equipment such as diggers, dumpers, rollers, excavators, telehandlers, forklifts etc.


• Follow safety and housekeeping standards in your area of work both in the workshop and at customer sites.


• Representing the company in a professional manner

Qualifications

• As the Mobile Plant Engineer you must have previously worked in positions such as Engineer, Mechanic, Tool Fitter, Agricultural Engineer, Agricultural Mechanic, Generator Engineer, Plant Fitter, Automotive Fitter, Hydraulic Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Technician, Service Fitter, Service Engineer or similar
