Overview

Position: Mobile Maintenance Electrician
Type: Permanent
Location: Leeds (with travel), plus occasional travel to Manchester
Salary: circa £40,000 PA door to door and overtime etc.

We are recruiting for a multiskilled maintenance electrician to join a team of mobile engineers in providing building services and plant room maintenance to key corporate estates across the Yorkshire region, with occasional travel to Manchester. The role is permanent with a basic salary of £40,000 plus door to door, overtime, and on-call duties. 25 days holiday plus stat.

Responsibilities

• Perform building services and electrical maintenance across commercial facilities.
• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems.
• Maintain lighting, emergency systems, and building services plant room electrical systems.
• Complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements.
• Respond to Helpdesk requests with professional and timely service.
• Work on AHUs, fan coil units and general HVAC plant room operations.
• Carry out mechanical and fabric tasks when required.
• Conduct compliance checks and ensure records are kept up to date.
• Lead works providing guidance to maintenance personnel, client managers and sub-contractors.
• Provide guidance on compliance and scheduling of checks and maintain visibility of compliance records.

Qualifications & Skills

• Recognised professional engineering qualification, Level 3.
• Electrical engineering / Qualified Electrician with multiskilled background; experience on general HVAC plant including AHUs and fan coils preferred.
• 18th edition.
• Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment.
• Presentable, articulate, with a sound understanding of compliance and PPM paperwork and records.
• Ability to clear security and financial checks.
• Full driving license and willingness to operate on a mobile basis.
• Familiar with Facilities Management sector.
