Overview

Mobile HVAC Service Engineer – Midlands – £38,000–£43,000 + Package

Location: Covering the Midlands region (Birmingham, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and surrounding areas)

Salary: £38,000 – £43,000 + van + bonuses + package

Contract Type: Permanent | Full Time

Start Date: ASAP

Role

Carrying out planned and reactive service, maintenance, and breakdowns on a range of commercial HVAC and Air Conditioning systems. Working across MOD and MOJ contracts, primarily covering the Midlands (Birmingham, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, and surrounding areas). Occasional travel to additional sites across the wider region as needed. Engaging with CAFM systems and providing accurate, up-to-date job reporting. Participating in a call-out rota (approx. 1 in 6 weeks).

Requirements
  • Fully conversant with the service and maintenance of commercial AC & HVAC systems
  • Must hold valid F-Gas certification
  • NVQ or City & Guilds in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
  • Additional electrical qualifications are advantageous
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills
  • Experience using tablet-based CAFM systems
  • Clean DBS & Enhanced checks – must be comfortable working in secure environments (e.g., prisons)
Salary & Package
  • £38,000 – £43,000 basic salary
