Responsibilities

• Carry out full electrical upgrades and rewires in local authority properties.
• Support kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, completing all associated electrical works.
• Perform electrical installations to current regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct testing, inspection, and certification in accordance with 2391 or equivalent requirements.
• Diagnose electrical faults and complete remedial repairs.
• Ensure all work is completed within SLA targets and to a high-quality standard.
• Maintain accurate documentation, certificates, and reports using company systems.
• Liaise professionally with tenants, supervisors, and office staff.
• Work independently across multiple sites in a mobile capacity.

Skills

City & Guilds electrical qualifications (or equivalent)

2391 Test & Inspection (or equivalent qualification)

18th Edition wiring regulations

Strong experience in domestic or social housing environments

Competent in full rewires, upgrades, and testing

Full UK driving licence
