We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled MIS Reporting & Systems Development Team Leader with experience of working within the Further Education sector to join our college community.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) and business intelligence reports to support business operations and decision‑making.
- Lead the MIS Reporting & Systems team, line‑manage staff to deliver a high‑quality, cross‑college service that meets internal and external deadlines and encourages continuous learning and development of team members.
- Plan and drive improvements across our student data management products (including OneAdvanced systems) to ensure we are operating with sector‑leading practices.
- Proactively shape performance, quality, and business systems to meet the College’s objectives for efficiency and compliance, helping ensure our data, systems, and reporting support our long‑term strategic direction.
- Communicate with colleagues, students, and stakeholders, building and maintaining excellent working relationships both internally and externally.
Qualifications
- Experience working within the Further Education sector, leading MIS reporting and systems development teams.
- Proficiency with SSRS, Power BI, and other business intelligence tools.
- Strong knowledge of data management and reporting processes, including student data management systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and develop a high‑performing team.
- Demonstrated ability to drive improvements and support business decision‑making.
