A leading NHS Trust in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Midwife with a passion for supporting women with complex care needs. The role involves providing continuity of care during antenatal and postnatal periods, advocating for vulnerable populations, and working alongside a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of post-registration experience, community midwifery experience, and hold an active UK NMC PIN.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Midwife with an interest in Complex Care Needs to join the maternity team at UHNM. This is a new and innovative role that will allow the Midwife to provide continuity of care for women and birthing people during the antenatal and postnatal period.
You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to address and reduce health inequalities for a cohort of women that includes, but not limited to, care of young people under 16 years, those birthing people seeking asylum, people with a Learning Disability and other hard to reach communities. We are looking for someone to be an advocate for this cohort of women and birthing people and to have a genuine passion for improving outcomes.
The closing date is 30 September 2025
