Responsibilities

  • Control of the dinner queue.
  • Supervising students eating meals.
  • Ensuring crockery, cutlery, trays and leftovers are returned by students to relevant collection and disposal points.
  • Supervising activities in the playground, and indoors in bad weather.
  • Ensuring appropriate behaviour of students in accordance with the Elfed High School Belonging Policy.
  • Encouraging students out of school buildings when they should be outside.
  • Referring incidents to Senior Staff.
  • Litter picking.
  • Any other relevant duties as directed by the senior members of staff or Headteacher.

This post will start on Monday 2nd February 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The post is subject to the postholder having a successful Disclosure and Barring Service application.

The post is a part time post for one hour a day, five days a week (5 hours a week) term time only from 12.45 hr to 13:45 hr.

Salary Scale G01 - £12.65 - £13.05 per hour.
