Midday Supervisor

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Permanent

Roles: Midday Supervisor: Grade 4 £12.85 per hour Actual Salary - £3,477.53 6hrs 15 mins per week, term time only Monday – Friday 12.15 – 1.30pm

Closing Date: Wednesday 7th January 2026 at 12noon

Interview Date: Friday 16th January 2026

Congerstone Primary School is looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team. This is a wonderful opportunity to support our pupils during their lunchtime break, ensuring they have a safe, happy and enjoyable experience both in the dining hall and on the playground.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise pupils during lunch in the dining hall, classrooms or outdoors.
  • Encourage positive play, healthy eating and good behaviour.
  • Support children in resolving minor disagreements and building positive relationships.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times.
  • Assist in setting up and clearing away dining areas when required.

Previous experience of working in a school environment or recent relevant child-based role is desirable, training can be provided for the successful candidate.
