The Strategic Communications Manager will act as the bridge between business strategy and communications planning, translating Insight’s commercial objectives into a consistent narrative platform that channel owners can execute across all external and internal communications.
Reporting directly to the President of EMEA, this role partners closely with both marketing and business leadership to ensure that every message — whether to clients, partners, teammates, analysts, or the media - reinforces our strategic priorities, including Insight’s AI-first positioning and growth ambitions and will design the EMEA communications framework, embed a disciplined operating model, and work cross-functionally to ensure that strategic storytelling drives tangible business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Strategic Communications Planning
- Link with Global Insight messaging and translate EMEA strategy into a unified communications strategy and plan aligned to business growth priorities.
- Develop narrative and messaging frameworks for multiple audiences (clients, partners, teammates, analysts, vendors, and media).
- Establish quarterly and annual communications plans to deliver against two core imperatives :
- Position Insight as the credible AI-first solutions integrator in EMEA.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic storytelling and executive visibility.
Communications Operating Model & Governance
- Build a communication operating rhythm with standardised templates, editorial calendars, and approval processes.
- Create governance and reporting frameworks for campaigns, executive comms, and internal communications.
- Produce reusable communications playbooks to ensure message consistency across geographies and functions.
Executive Communications & Strategic Influence
- Act as a strategic advisor to the President of EMEA and other senior leaders for both internal and external communications.
- Develop executive visibility plans, including ghostwriting, thought leadership content, analyst / media briefings, and keynote preparation.
- Define when and how senior leaders should be engaged to support commercial and brand objectives.
Campaign & Narrative Integration
- Partner with PR, Social Media, and Marketing teams to ensure all external activity aligns with the core narrative platform.
- Ensure internal campaigns (e.g., all hands, town halls, newsletters, culture initiatives) echo and reinforce strategic positioning.
- Work with brand and demand generation teams to embed narratives into digital campaigns, account-based marketing (ABM), and partner marketing initiatives.
Internal Communications Strategy
- Collaborate with the internal comms specialist to shape engaging, strategy-led content for EMEA teammates.
- Ensure internal messaging mirrors external positioning, reinforcing business strategy, culture, and the employee value proposition.
- Oversee a co-ordinated approach to internal communications, owning the master plan, communications channels, communications governance to ensure joined up messaging which is synchronised across the EMEA business.
Change & Culture Communications
- Serve as communications lead for regional change management initiatives (e.g., reorganizations, new programs, technology rollouts).
