Overview

MFL Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time MFL teacher in Hull ideally starting 22nd t September 2025 and lasting until at least October 17th 2025. This is a temporary position to cover a period of sickness absence, and as such may increase in the future. Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale, between £32,916 and £51048 (this may change if pay scales increase in the new academic year). Scaled down to a daily rate, this results in a daily payment between £168.80 and £261.78 depending on experience and qualifications. There is potential for a candidate to not plan and mark, and simply deliver, and payment for this would be between £140 and £180 per day depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Teach MFK to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Full planning and marking is expected, but there are some excellent lessons on bank making planning requirements minimal for this role.
• Teach French to Key Stage 3 and 4 and potentially Spanish to Key Stage 3 students.
• Unqualified teacher/cover supervisor who is a MFL specialist/graduate may take on this role, with planning completed by the Head of Department at the school.

Location and School

Located in Hull, there is a large onsite car park for candidates that do drive. The school has an excellent reputation, and fantastic leadership which fosters a creative and caring environment for teachers to learn and flourish. This school is part of a medium sized, local academy trust, so experience in this school could lead to further opportunities in the future. • Have experience working within schools in the UK.
• Has experience supporting within UK schools
• Has experience teaching MFL to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

• Legal right to work in the UK
