An established industry player is seeking a talented MET Technician / Strip Fitter to join their leading team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles using modern equipment and techniques within a state-of-the-art Bodyshop. The ideal candidate will have a recognised apprenticeship and experience in a busy body shop, demonstrating up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques. MET TECHNICIAN/ STRIP FITTER

MET Technician / Strip Fitter details:

• Basic Salary: £42,000 - £55,000
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours/week
• Location: Woolwich

Talented and efficient MET Technician / Strip Fitter to join this leading team.

As a MET Technician / Strip Fitter, you will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' specifications within a state-of-the-art Bodyshop, utilising modern equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities of an MET Technician / Strip Fitter

1. Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
2. Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications of an MET Technician / Strip Fitter

1. Served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).
2. Previous experience working as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter within a busy body shop and a strong team player with self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
3. Work to the highest standards and demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
