A leading automotive staffing company is seeking a skilled MET Technician / Strip Fitter in Grays, Essex. You will be responsible for repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards in a modern Bodyshop. The ideal candidate has a recognized apprenticeship, hands-on experience, and a strong understanding of repair techniques. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £44,000 to £53,000, with work hours Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Overview

MET Technician / Strip Fitter details:

Salary: £44,000 - £53,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm (42.5hrs)

Location: Grays

Talented and efficient MET Technician/ Strip Fitter to join this leading team. As a MET Technician / Strip Fitter, you will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' specifications within a state-of-the-art Bodyshop, utilising modern equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
• Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).
• You must have previous experience working as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
• You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
