Duties
Cantilupe Surgery is a large 12700 patient practice in central Hereford, with its branch Hampton Dene, 2 miles away.
We have a large team of reception, admin and clinical staff, who provide medical services to our patients.
Our reception team are a fabulous bunch! You will need a strong work ethic, and good sense of humour as well as meticulous attention to detail. We pride ourselves in excellent patient care and look forward to working with a like-minded new team member .

Receive, assist and directpatients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in acourteous, efficient and effective way.
Providegeneral assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendlyimage to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone
Job Responsibilities:
Navigatepatients to the correct person who can help with their query in the most timelyway.
Ensurean effective, efficient, polite and courteous reception service is provided topatients and any other visitors to the Practice
Dealwith all general enquiries, explain procedures and make new and follow-upappointments or phone calls.
Usingyour own judgment and communication skills ensure that patients with no priorappointment but who need urgent consultation are seen in a logical andnon-disruptive manner.
ExplainPractice arrangements and formal requirements to new patients and those seekingtemporary cover and ensure procedures are completed.
Receiveand make telephone calls as required.Divert calls and take messages, ensuring accuracy of detail and promptappropriate delivery.
