Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC & Plumbing)
Midlands-Based | Projects Across the UK & Ireland

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading mechanical services contractor with a growing portfolio of major HVAC and plumbing installations nationwide. They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee projects from conception to completion, delivering high-quality solutions for commercial clients.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing multiple mechanical projects ranging from £20k to £1m, covering:

• Installation & Delivery of HVAC systems, heating, ventilation, and hot/cold water services.
• Client Liaison – attending site meetings and ensuring clear communication throughout.
• Pre-Construction Duties – conducting surveys, supporting tenders, and negotiating contracts.
• Resource Coordination – managing subcontractors, labour, and material schedules.
• Compliance & Documentation – producing RAMS, O&M manuals, and overseeing health & safety.
• Quality Control – monitoring progress, managing variations, and ensuring snag-free handovers.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven background in HVAC or mechanical building services.
• Strong understanding of industry regulations and supplier products.
• ONC/HNC in Building Services (HVAC) preferred.
• CSCS card essential.
• Confident working with CAD drawings and IT systems.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to lead independently while collaborating with wider teams.
