Job summary

A leading provider of mechanical and electrical installation services is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee mechanical installations on commercial and industrial projects. Candidates should have a strong background in project management within M&E / Building Services and a proven track record in managing substantial projects. The role requires strong leadership and client-facing skills, with a preference for those based in or around the Bristol area.

Qualifications

• Experience in an M&E / Building Services environment with direct project management and delivery of mechanical installations and related services.
• Experience on projects up to £25M+ is preferred.
• Based in or commutable to Bristol / Avon area.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering schemes; experience dealing with main contractors is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical installations on commercial and industrial schemes, including new build industrial sheds, warehousing, distribution and data centres.
• Coordinate with main contractors and other specialist mechanical engineers; liaise with site teams and a Senior Project Manager.
• Conduct client-facing meetings with professionalism and integrity.
• Organise and oversee the delivery of mechanical installations, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
