Overview

Mechanical Engineer role for a manufacturing business specialising in the design and manufacture of metal components used in critical industries such as oil & gas and aerospace. They focus on investing in their team and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Varying work between design, assembly and simulation.
• Use SolidWorks (or another 3D CAD package) to create 3D models, detailed component drawings and assembly drawings.
• Manage projects from concept through to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across departments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in mechanical design (e.g., Design Engineer, CAD Engineer, Mechanical Engineer).
• Experience using SolidWorks, Inventor, Solid Edge, Creo or a similar 3D CAD package.
• Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve.
• Experience working with metal and designing components.
• Confident in voicing opinions and ideas within the team and to other departments.
