MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (WATER SECTOR) - MANCHESTER - CONTRACT OR PERMANENT - £45,000 - £65,000 OR £300 - £400 PER DAY

Ceto Talent are working with an engineering and construction contractor based in Manchester, and we are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer within the water sector to join on either a permanent or contract basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide design deliverables that satisfy safety and quality requirements for water industry projects.
• Produce design calculations and drawings for the water sector, including clean water, wastewater and wet infrastructure design.
• Prepare scopes for and check the output of subcontract M&E design teams.

• Degree-educated engineer with experience in the water sector as a design engineer.
• Strong knowledge and experience in design drawing practices.
• Experience in hydraulic design.

Location and Structure

Based in Manchester with a hybrid working pattern. The permanent option salary ranges from £45,000 to £65,000, dependent on experience and suitability. The contract option is £300 to £400 per day (outside IR35) and the contract is ongoing.
