Mechanical Assembler

Workshop role Commutable from Tamworth, Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham (East/North), Nuneaton, Hinckley, Atherstone, Burton upon Trent

£35,000 (£17) (OTE £40k+) + Mon-Thu (7.30am- 4.45pm) +Early finish on Fri (7am-12pm) + Production Bonus + Individual Bonus + 6 Month Target Bonus + Overtime (1.5x & 2x) + Pension + 28 days holiday + Profit Share Scheme + Healthcare After 2 Years

Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter or mechanically minded engineer looking for a stable, long term permanent role offering excellent overtime, strong bonus earnings, and ongoing technical development?

This position would suit a mechanical or refrigeration engineer with strong hands‑on skills in fitting, assembly, pipework or electrical tasks.

F Gas is desirable but not essential as the company can provide full training. This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys practical engineering, problem solving and working on varied assemblies.

The Role:

• Mechanical fitting and assembly of engineering components and refrigeration-based equipment
• Brazing, soldering, copper pipework, electrical wiring and general build tasks across the production line
• Full time hours Monday to Thursday 7.30 am to 4.45 pm (with lunch break) and Friday 7.00 am to 12.00 pm

The Person:

• Hands on engineering experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, pipework, welding, wiring or similar
• Refrigeration knowledge ideal but not essential, full training can be provided including F Gas
• Ability to work to technical instructions with strong attention to detail and quality
