Overview

Are you an education expert? We are seeking an experienced SEMH teacher who specialises in teaching Maths for a permanent teaching job in Staffordshire, West Midlands (ST10 3ER). The role is with a SEND (SEMH) specialist who is available immediately. The position is a permanent, full-time post based at a small alternative provision school with places for up to 36 students, catering for pupils aged 7-17 with SEND requirements such as SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. A site tour and an informal meeting with the Regional Executive Director can be arranged.

This site is part of a national trust focused on supporting children with complex behaviours and needs. Their pupils have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and the team works to develop self-belief to become effective learners. Responsibilities

This section outlines the focus of the role based at a small alternative provision school with SEMH and SEND pupils. The successful candidate will teach Maths and contribute to supporting learners with complex needs as part of a dedicated team. Qualifications

• A relevant UK-based teaching and/or leadership qualification.
• Substantial experience working with pupils with SEND within an education setting.
• All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to, a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.
• Exceptional references.
