Salary: M1 UPS3

GSL Education is seeking a passionate and motivated Maths Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Hull. This role is ideal for a teacher who inspires students, delivers high-quality lessons, and supports students in developing confidence and skills in mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

Maths Teacher Responsibilities

  • Promote practical problem-solving and mathematical reasoning.

  • Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Contribute to extracurricular maths clubs, competitions, and enrichment activities.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work and cross-curricular projects.

Maths Teacher Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in Maths.

  • Experience teaching secondary Maths with strong knowledge of the national curriculum.

  • Ability to deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered to the Update Service, or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
