Job Summary and key responsibilities

We’re looking for a highly organised, people-focused Marketing Team Leader to join our fast-paced and growing marketing team. This new role is central to the smooth running of our internal Marketing Executive pod – coordinating workflow, supporting individual development, and acting as the bridge between senior marketers and the delivery team. If you're passionate about nurturing people, love a good process, and can keep cool under pressure, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Line manage a team of Marketing Executives, ensuring workloads are evenly distributed and deadlines are met
    • Run regular 1:1s and development sessions, helping each team member progress through a clear training and career path
    • Create a culture of growth, support, and high standards
  • Workflow & Process Management
    • Own the team’s day-to-day task allocation and workflow, using project or marketing management systems
    • Be the first point of contact for brand teams, digital, design, and content when work is briefed in
    • Ensure smooth coordination of work across multiple streams and brands
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Liaise daily with internal stakeholders and agency partners to ensure priorities are aligned and delivered
    • Spot inefficiencies, suggest improvements, and champion process across the wider team
What are we looking for
  • Proven experience in a team leadership or coordination role – ideally within a marketing or creative environment
  • An insanely organised approach and love of structure, planning and getting things done
  • Excellent people skills – able to inspire, guide and support team members at different stages of their career
  • Calm, solution-focused and proactive in a fast-moving environment
  • Some understanding of marketing workflows and processes
  • Experience using project management software (a PMS like Monday, Trello, Wrike or similar)
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience working in or alongside a marketing function
  • Confidence working with agencies and a wide range of internal stakeholders
