Job summary

A prominent charity organization in the UK is seeking a Marketing Executive to join their Legacy and In Memory Giving Marketing Team. In this role, you'll plan and deliver marketing campaigns aimed at acquiring legacy pledgers through various media channels. Role Overview

We're looking for a Marketing Executive to join our Legacy and In Memory Giving Marketing Team to specialise in the planning and delivery of campaigns. More specifically this executive will sit within our legacy acquisition pod and will work closely alongside our media agency to deliver acquiring legacy pledgers, intenders and enquirers through several different media channels. This team supports the RNLI by raising funds through gifts left to our charity in wills. This is an important time for the RNLI's Legacy fundraising team, with 6 out of 10 lifeboat launches funded by legacies this will be a key area of focus for the charity going forwards.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting Marketing Managers to deliver marketing campaigns, projects, and other fundraising activity.
  • Campaign planning, briefing and administration on a range of offline and online channels, such as Press Ads, Inserts, DRTV, PPC and PMax.
  • Supporting on campaign delivery and briefing our in-house creative team and external media agency.
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and volunteers.
  • Understanding and interpreting data to help inform and develop marketing activities.
  • Managing purchase orders and timely goods receipting invoices.
Qualifications
  • Experience in planning and managing fundraising/marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in print marketing for cold acquisition across a variety of channels, such as Press Ads and Inserts.
  • Be capable of building strong and collaborative working relationships, both within the existing team and with other teams and multiple stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Proven experience of working across multiple projects to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written).
  • Understanding of legacy fundraising (desirable).
