Qualifications

  • Must have a time served mechanical apprenticeship in an engineering function.
  • Experience working in a high-powered manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Computer literacy is required including Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure processes are operated safely and escalate issues affecting safety.
  • Adhere to dynamic risk assessments for tasks.
  • Operate and maintain production plant and equipment.

Skills

Mechanical apprenticeship
Experience in a metal forming environment
Knowledge of high powered manufacturing
Setting and operation of power presses
Basic understanding of SPC
Medium volume production experience
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office/SAP)
Press inspection course
