Overview

Proactive Personnel Ltd are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operatives to join our client’s dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks within the manufacturing/production process, contributing to the production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Shift

Days & Nights Available (You will need to complete training on days before working on Nights).

Responsibilities
  • Work on a number of manufacturing roles such as assembling, deburring, inserting, finishing, bushing and operating press brakes.
  • Some work may include activities within the client’s paint shop such as masking, demasking, powder coating, etc.
  • Use hand & power tools.
  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet manufacturing targets and deadlines.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Prior experience within manufacturing, production or engineering is essential.
  • Previous experience within sheet metal would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience within CNC work or quality inspection would be beneficial.
  • Must have previous experience using hand & power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of identifying issues and implementing solutions.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of machinery operation is preferred but training will be provided.
